Having worked for Shasta County 31 years, Diana Leland has worked as an eligibility worker, ongoing social worker and foster care licensing worker. As a passionate advocate for foster families, foster children and birth parents Diana has touched the lives of countless children and families.
Those working with Diana over the years have always found her to be helpful, communicative and supportive in her reunification efforts. As an ongoing Social Worker, her dedication to the youth on her caseload having normalized experiences has been exceptional. Diana has always gone the extra mile for the youth in her caseload including going to high school orientations with youth when there was no other supportive adult available.
She is respected for her diligence, knowledge and expertise in the field of child welfare. She also makes amazing baked goods and has a flair for seasonal decorations which has been appreciated by staff and caregivers alike. Diana is excited to start her new adventure with her husband, two daughters, future son in law and hopefully grandchildren!
