Continue to a date uncertain, the requests to: (1) Adopt a resolution which adopts the Shasta County Local Agency Management Program establishing standards for the construction, operation, maintenance and abandonment of Onsite Wastewater Treatment Systems; and (2) enact an ordinance adding Chapter 8.41, Onsite Wastewater Treatment Systems to Title 8 Health and Safety of the Shasta County Code. |

On March 14, 2017, the Board introduced and waived the reading of an ordinance adding Chapter 8.41 Onsite Wastewater Treatment Systems to the County Code and considered a resolution to adopt the Local Agency Management Program (LAMP) establishing standards for the construction, operation, maintenance and abandonment of Onsite Wastewater Treatment Systems. To fully respond to the questions raised at the March 14th meeting, the department is requesting that the second reading of the ordinance and adoption of the resolution be moved to a date uncertain.
