The Halcumb Cemetery District (HCD) Board of Trustees is a three person board established in 1935 and is governed by Health and Safety Code 9022 which requires appointees to reside in the district and be registered to vote in the district. Terms of appointees are four-years with rotating expiration dates; 2017, 2019, and 2020.
Don Hampshire has served on the HCD Board of Trustees since 1998. His current term expired May 2016. The Clerk of the Board posted the required Notice of Vacancy, a copy of the Affidavit of Posting is on file in the Clerk of the Board's office. At the HCD February 13, 2017 board meeting, the Trustees voted to recommend Mr. Hampshire's reappointment to the board for a term to expire May 2020.

Claudia Fletcher to fill the unexpired vacant term to May 2019. Ms. Fletcher's application is attached.
