| | | | | | | | DISCUSSION
The flooring in the Support Services Office on the third floor of the Administration Center needs replacing. The existing flooring was installed when the Administration Center was constructed in 2003. New carpet tile will be installed throughout most of the work areas. The remaining areas: front lobby, staff counter area, and adjacent work room will be replaced with resilient tile flooring.
On January 10, 2023, the Board approved plans and specifications to construct the project. On February 9, 2023, two bids were received and opened. The low bid was 23% above the Engineer’s Estimate. Staff recommends that the Board award the contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, Design Time and Tile, Inc., in the amount of $129,422. |
