| | | | | | | | RECOMMENDATION
Adopt a resolution which dissolves the Deer Flat Road Permanent Road Division. (Page 218) |
| | | | | | | | SUMMARY
The Deer Flat Road Permanent Road Division (PRD) was formed to pave Deer Flat Road. That cost has been recouped so it is recommended that the PRD be dissolved. |
| | | | | | | | DISCUSSION
Deer Flat Road is a County-maintained road east of Shingletown. It was formerly gravel. In 1998, residents offered to pay for the asphalt to pave the road. The Road fund paid for the paving by contract. The Deer Flat Road PRD was formed to repay the Road fund. The debt has been repaid and the PRD may be dissolved. Ongoing maintenance will continue to be a Road fund responsibility. |
| | | | | | | | ALTERNATIVES
The Board may decline to dissolve the Deer Flat Road PRD. It serves no present purpose. |
| | | | | | | | OTHER AGENCY INVOLVEMENT
County Counsel has approved the resolution as to form. The County Administrative Office has reviewed this recommendation. |
| | | | | | | | FINANCING
The Deer Flat Road PRD fund has a current fund balance of $560. Minor A-87 expenses will be incurred in the current fiscal year. Any remaining funds will be transferred to the Road fund. There is no General Fund impact. |
