At the direction of the Chair, consider taking the following actions: (1) Adopt a resolution opposing state-imposed vaccine mandates; (2) approve a letter to Governor Gavin Newsom opposing state-imposed vaccine mandates; and (3) provide direction to staff on: (a) conducting the September 21, 2021 special meeting of the Board of Supervisors on these topics, including but not limited to rescheduling; and (b) other matters related to these topics. |

At the August 31, 2021 meeting, the Board directed staff to place a resolution opposing the federal and state-imposed COVID-19 vaccine mandates on a future agenda for discussion. |
