RECOMMENDATION

Receive information regarding the Final Review of the Assessor-Recorder's Social Security Redaction/Truncation Program.

DISCUSSION

The Auditor-Controller has performed a final review of the Assessor-Recorder’s social security number redaction/truncation program, as required, per GC Section 27361(d)(4). Our review has adhered to generally accepted accounting standards, and the review results will be made available to the public via the County Auditor’s website. During our review we noted no instances of non-compliance. Based on our review and information provide by the Assessor-Recorder, the redaction fee will sunset on December 31, 2017, with no provision for renewal.
