Approve and authorize the Public Works Director to sign a Notice of Completion for the “Corporation Yard Roofing Project,” Contract No. 701603, and record it within 15 days of actual completion of the work. |

The Corporation Yard Roofing Project is complete. |
| | | | | | | | DISCUSSION
On July 25, 2017, the Board awarded the contract for the Corporation Yard Roofing Project to Harbert Roofing, Inc. The project consisted of re-roofing a portion of the road maintenance shop building on Breslauer Way. The work on this project was completed on December 8, 2017. |
| | | | | | | | ALTERNATIVES
The Board may decline to file a Notice of Completion. The lien period would extend for 90 days instead of 30 days. Final payment to the contractor would be delayed by 60 days. |

The recommendation has been reviewed by the County Administrative Office. |

The estimated total cost of the Corporation Yard Roofing Project is $150,052. Expenditures are included in the LB&I budget. There is no General Fund impact. |
