Approve and authorize the Chairman to sign an agreement with Western Shasta Resource Conservation District in the amount of $65,250 to provide Firewise Communities Program activities for the period effective date of signing through September 30, 2018, with two automatic one-year renewals. |

| | | | | | | | DISCUSSION
On October 17, 2017, the Board approved Title III fund allocations totaling $189,000. The WSRCD was obligated $65,250 of Title III funds for Firewise Communities Program activities within the Shasta Forest Village subdivision. A personal services agreement is recommended with WSRCD to reimburse them for allowable Title III expenditures. |

The Board may decline to approve the agreement. The WSRCD will not be reimbursed for Title III expenditures. |
| | | | | | | | OTHER AGENCY INVOLVEMENT
County Counsel has approved the agreement as to form. Risk Management has reviewed and approved the agreement. The recommendation has been reviewed by the County Administrative Office. |

The proposed work will be funded with Title III funds. Adequate budget is included in the Title III Projects budget. There is no General Fund Impact. |
