| | | | | | | | RECOMMENDATION
For Tract No. 1986, Phase 2, Laurel Glen Estates (west Redding area), approve and authorize the release of security guaranteeing maintenance of public improvements in the amount of $6,800. |

It is recommended that the Board release the developer’s maintenance security for public improvements. |
| | | | | | | | DISCUSSION
Tract No. 1986, Phase 2, Laurel Glen Estates, is in the west Redding area. The developer (Signature Northwest) constructed local roads and an Emergency Fire Escape Road. They posted a one-year maintenance security for the work. The road improvements have been in service for a year now. A few minor problems were identified and have been repaired. Staff recommends release of the security. |

The developer has fulfilled the conditions guaranteed by the security so the security should be released. |
| | | | | | | | OTHER AGENCY INVOLVEMENT
The Planning Commission established the map conditions that required the developer to make the road improvements and to post the maintenance security. The recommendation has been reviewed by the County Administrative Office. |

All subdivision activity is fee supported. There is no General Fund impact. |
