Approve and authorize the Public Works Director to sign a Notice of Completion for the Public Defender HVAC Renovation Project, Contract No. 610435, and record it within 15 days of actual completion of the work. |

| | | | | | | | DISCUSSION
On February 28, 2017, High Efficiency Solutions, Inc. dba Timberline Heating and Air Conditioning was awarded the contract for the Public Defender HVAC Renovation Project. The project consisted of renovating the HVAC system and repairing a portion of the roof at the Public Defender Building located at 1815 Yuba Street, Redding, CA. |

The Board may decline to file a Notice of Completion. The lien period would extend for 90 days instead of 30 days. Final payment to the contractor would be delayed by 60 days. |

The County Administrative Office has reviewed this recommendation. |

The total cost of this project is estimated to be $210,000. Adequate funds have been included in the Adopted 2016/17 LB&I budget. There is no additional General Fund impact. |
