Approve a ballot in favor of appointing Supervisor Leonard Moty as a representative on the Supervisor-Group 2 County Medical Services Program Governing Board, for the term January 1, 2017 through December 31, 2019. |

The County Medical Services Program (CMSP) Governing Board is composed of County Supervisors, County Administrative Officers, and county health and welfare officials from the 35 member counties. An election needs to be held to fill the County Supervisor Representative from Group 2 Counties for the new term, which starts January 1, 2017 and ends December 31, 2019. |

The Board could choose not to make the appointment; however, this would cause Shasta County to be unrepresented on the CMSP Governing Board. |
