Approve and authorize the Public Works Director to sign a Notice of Completion for the Inwood Road at South Fork Bear Creek Bridge Replacement Project, Contract No. 705925, and record it within 15 days of actual completion of the work. |

The Inwood Road at South Fork Bear Creek Bridge Replacement Project is substantially complete. |
| | | | | | | | DISCUSSION
The Inwood Road at South Fork Bear Creek Bridge is in Shingletown. The existing timber bridge was structurally deficient. On June 14, 2016, Hat Creek Construction and Materials, Inc. was awarded the contract to replace the bridge. The new structure is a two-lane concrete box girder bridge on the same alignment. The bridge has been opened to traffic and is substantially complete. |

The Board may decline to file a Notice of Completion. The lien period would extend for 90 days instead of 30 days. Final payment to the contractor would be delayed by 60 days. |
| | | | | | | | OTHER AGENCY INVOLVEMENT
Caltrans oversees the federal funding. The County Administrative Office has reviewed the recommendation. |
| | | | | | | | FINANCING
The total cost of this project is approximately $1,350,000. Federal Funds will cover 97%. Adequate funds are included in the Adopted FY 16/17 Road Fund budget. There is no General Fund impact. |
