| | | | | | | | RECOMMENDATION
Approve a budget amendment increasing appropriations by $2,000 offset with use of fund balance in the Diamond Ridge Estates Permanent Road Division budget for professional road construction and maintenance services. |
| | | | | | | | SUMMARY
A budget amendment is proposed for resurfacing within the Diamond Ridge Estates Permanent Road Division (PRD). |
| | | | | | | | DISCUSSION
The Diamond Ridge Estates Permanent Road Division (PRD) is near Texas Springs Road. In 2006, local residents petitioned the Board to establish the PRD. Annual parcel charges are collected and accumulate until maintenance is required. The 2016 PRD maintenance contract was awarded to Northwest Paving, Inc. Laiku Lane and Taku Lane were slurry sealed. The contract is based upon actual square footage which exceeded the budgeted amount. |
| | | | | | | | ALTERNATIVES
The Board may decline to approve the proposed budget amendment. Expenditures will be overstated. |
| | | | | | | | OTHER AGENCY INVOLVEMENT
The County Administrative Office has reviewed this recommendation. |
| | | | | | | | FINANCING
There is adequate fund balance to process the budget amendment. There is no General Fund impact. |
