Approve and authorize the Public Works Director to sign a Notice of Completion for the Platina Road Culvert Replacement Project, Contract No. 706741, and record it within 15 days of actual completion. |

The Platina Road Culvert Replacement Project is complete. |
| | | | | | | | DISCUSSION
A 48” corrugated metal pipe partially collapsed underneath Platina Road, west of Ono. On August 30, 2016, a construction contract was awarded to Trinity River Construction, Inc. The culvert was replaced and rock slope protection was added. Guard rail and fencing were removed and replaced. The road was closed for five days during construction. The work was completed on October 7, 2016. |

The Board may decline to file a Notice of Completion. The lien period would extend for 90 days instead of 30 days. |

The recommendation has been reviewed by the County Administrative Office. |

The total cost of this project was approximately $135,000. Adequate funds were included in the Adopted FY 16/17 Road Fund budget. There is no General Fund impact. |
